All proteins are not created equal.

This video from “What I’ve Learned” describes in great detail the quality of the proteins we eat.  Not necessarily the “quality” but the quantity of the actual amino acids in each protein.  Proteins are comprised of the 9 essential amino acids, and each protein source does not have the same proportions of each amino acid, thus creating a different “quality” for each protein.  The video does a great job and is worth watching to understand in detail which proteins you are eating, and which will give you the ideal blend of the amino acids that you need in your diet whether from a meat or plant source.
