Spotlight on Ann Revell Pryzgoda’s Gym Grind

At PUSH Gym, our members put in hard work to achieve their goals – not only by dedicating time to their sweat sessions, but also by sticking to their fitness routines.
30-year-old Ann Revell Pryzgoda started at PUSH in January 2021. She received a polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS, diagnosis after experiencing substantial weight gain, among other factors. “Getting into better shape was going to be the best thing for treating it,” she said.
Ann had already lost about 25 pounds when she first began at PUSH. Now, she’s down more than 50.
“My goal was to get functionally fit, so I can live my life without restrictions,” she said.
Ann enjoys that the workouts are different every day, instead of continuously repeating the same moves. But, what keeps her coming back is the people.
“I’ve been an athlete most of my life, and have tried a lot of different gyms, but this one is my gym home,” Ann said. At present, her focus has shifted from weight loss to strength building.
For others interested in kicking off their own fitness journeys, she has a word of advice: “Finding a place where you feel like you can be yourself and feel supported is almost more important than the actual workouts – and PUSH is that.”
