Push Yourself This Year

Hello PUSH Pals,

We hope that everyone is having a great start to the new year.  How are your New Year’s Resolutions going (if you have made some)? We’re hoping you push yourself this year.

If you follow PUSH on social media or talk to us in person, then you know that we are all about creating long-lasting, healthy habits for both diet and fitness.  Funny thing, diet and fitness are probably the most popular New Year’s resolutions. At PUSH, we don’t promote dieting or any crazy fitness challenges. We want to challenge you to be consistent with your health without the quick fix.

To see long-term results, we want you at PUSH exercising with us – or on days when you can’t make it to the gym, to have the knowledge to come up with your own challenging workout at home. Either way we push you to keep your exercise routine regular.  At PUSH we’re here to help you with being consistent.

As well as pushing you physically, we support you in making long-lasting, consistent healthy food choices. Consistency will eliminate the yo-yo effect we get from dieting and starting and stopping an exercise program. We want you to stop repeating the statement, “I have to get back in shape.”

The consistent, long-term approach to health and fitness also makes more sense to your body. Hormones and digestive systems need regularity to perform at their best and help keep you in the best shape possible.

We don’t have a resolution for you, but our New Year’s challenge is this: make good consistent choices. Exercise regularly and eat well.  And another thing — don’t punish yourself for having a bad eating day or missing a workout.  Just get right back after it the next day.

It’s not a New Year’s resolution, it is a way of life. Here’s to a happy and healthy 2017!
